Capital Campaign

In March of 2010, CVBH moved to beautiful downtown Hickory. We were able to purchase two buildings which had been vacant for nearly 3 years. By purchasing existing buildings, we are able to ensure fewer footprints on the environment. Not only are we able to help rebuild the inner city, but brought nearly 75 employees to downtown. As part of this move, we began a Capital Campaign in an effort to set free funds to provide more services to the Hickory and surrounding areas. We have received $250,000 towards a $500,000 goal.

Contact Sally Learned at slearned@cvbh.org or (828) 695-5900 for information on how to donate to the Capital Campaign.

CVBH would like to express sincere gratitude and appreciation to The Kate B Reynolds Foundation, The Duke Endowment, E. Rhodes and Leona B. Carpenter Foundation, The Cannon Foundation, The George Foundation, Hickory Community Relations Council, The Rotary Club of Catawba Valley, The Community Foundation of Burke County, Second Harvest Food Bank and Sisters of Mercy for their support and dedication to our agency.
